Our powder coating services developed out of our customer requirements following zinc electroplating. Originally a number of our zinc plating customers were transporting plated product from our premises to other local powder coating applicators. A number of these customers had product that required significant amounts of handling or small unique batch runs. As the local powder coating industry was moving towards high volume, large item product runs, this gave CP Plating the opportunity to offer a cost effective service. Customers also enjoyed the benefit of reducing shipping and transport costs as the items were only delivered and picked-up from one metal finisher.

We are able to supply a full range of colours commercially available from the major powder coating suppliers. The colours include those found on standard security screens/doors and roofing/wall corrugated profiles. Items can be baked in our oven that will fit within the 3600 x 1600 x 1200mm volume. We also have a chemical pre-treatment set-up for aluminium (and its alloys) to optimise adhesion of the powder coating to the parent metal. Articles are charged by surface area or linear metre, depending on the configuration.
